
Strength Through Patterns
Strength Through Patterns is my second album created, which consists of ambient, electronic, and video game soundtracks. My goal was to collect the tracks that I have created over the past 2 years in learning more advanced techniques in music. This album is most likely my best work yet, and I'm happy so far with what I created.
All of the pieces contain repeating motifs, hence the use of "patterns' in the name of the album. The first 3 tracks + corridors are made in Ableton Live 11, while tracks 4-5 are in Soundtrap. You can download it for free, and utilize it in any project you desire, as long as you credit me. Hope you enjoy my collection, and have a great day!

Album & Song Info

Chambers
"Chambers" is an ambient track focused around usage of 80s-90s synths. Inspired by the Minecraft, Subnautica, and Portal OSTs, I created this floaty and melancholy track to give a sense of walking through empty buildings, or chambers. Composed in Ableton Live 11 for school, in 2022.

Generation 1
"Generation 1" is an electronic instrumental track made to test out Ableton. I experimented with repeating patterns, and creating a simple, yet catchy melody. As with most of my pieces, I put emphasis on bass and melody, which can be heard prominently here. Composed in Ableton Live 11 for school, in 2022.

Motherboard
"Motherboard" is a semi-complex electronic track inspired by the Starbound OST. It's sort of a mix of the previous 2 tracks styles. My goal with this track was to convey a story, through its progression. The funky bassline carries a vibe throughout the track, until it hits the "bridge" part, to where it switches up. Afterward, it reverts back, in sort of an A:B:A format. Composed in Ableton Live 11 for school, in 2022.

Strength Through Patterns
"Strength Through Patterns" is my most recent work; an electronic/ambient track with the focus of creating unique and ear-catching sounds through repetition and variation of patterns. The core theme of the track is a repeating motif in D minor, which is heard prominently on a synth during the opening and end. The piece has ups and downs, twists and turns, a bit of everything. One of the melodies near the end of the track is a melody I created in my head one day nearly 5 years ago, and realizing it was in the same key, I decided to put it to use. Composed in SoundTrap, in 2024.

Geothermal [Remake]
"Geothermal [Remake]" is a remake of the track Geothermal from the Cave Story soundtrack. Originally written by Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya in Organya format, this track features a melancholic repeating bassline and note progression, adding an air of oppression to the environment it plays in. For the game's 20th anniversary, I decided to remake it in SoundTrap for fun, which was a very enjoyable endeavor. Created in 2024.

Corridors
"Corridors" is a slightly older version of "Chambers". I decided to release this track because I felt it offers a different perspective and feeling than the Chambers version. Corridors feels more mysterious and empty, while Chambers at times feels hopeful and positive. More info about this track (Chambers) above. Composed in Ableton Live 11 for school, in 2022.
